Founder and CEO
Good Growth
James Hammersley is CEO of Good Growth, an enterprise technology company that helps major retailers turn strategic priorities into live customer experiences at speed.
Over the past two decades, James has worked with leadership teams across some of the world’s largest retail, consumer and telecommunications businesses, helping them overcome the organisational and technological constraints that prevent valuable ideas from reaching customers.
His work focuses on the widening gap between what enterprises know they should do and what their existing operating models allow them to deliver. This includes how decision rights, incentives, governance, technology architecture and cross-functional ways of working must evolve as AI agents begin to participate directly in analysis, decision-making and execution.
Good Growth’s technology operates independently of retailers’ core platforms, allowing teams to deploy, measure and continuously improve complex digital experiences without waiting for major re-platforming programmes or conventional release cycles.
James is currently writing The Execution Advantage, exploring why the next era of competitive advantage will belong not simply to organisations with the best technology or ideas, but to those able to learn and execute faster than their competitors.
